Mobilizing our community to Build the Character and Competence of Southern York County's Children and Youth by fulfilling the Five Promises of America's Promise.

Reasons for Hope Conference  
Join Communities for Children as they present their conference, Reasons for Hope: Creating Connections Between Prevention & Positive Child & Youth Development.

The Conference will be held on November 19th (8:30am - 4:30pm) at the Augusta Civic Center.

Featured at the conference will be: Governor John Baldacci, Peter Benson (president, Search Institute), Marc Kielburger and Jason Apostolopoulos (Free the Children and Leaders Today), and Tunie Munson-Benson (director, Early Bird Project).

To access the brochure and register on-line, please visit http://www.communitiesforchildren.org. The registration deadline is November 5th, and each adult costs $30. Youth 18 years and younger are free but still need to register.
